Greta! We are cheering you on!

Greta, a Participant in our Career Transition Assistance (CTA) Program at the Thuringowa Career Centre, is benefiting from the program's focus on equipping individuals with the tools and support needed to successfully transition into new career opportunities.

With minimal computer experience, Greta found it challenging to apply for jobs that required basic digital literacy. However, her determination to learn and improve her skills has been transformative. Greta has enjoyed the online modules and worked through them at her own pace, supported by her Facilitator Clynt.

Greta acquired her own laptop towards the end of the program and now feels confident about pursuing further studies to prepare for roles in aged care. Recognising her transferable skills gained from previous work experiences has allowed Greta to see her way forward to explore a career in the aged care industry. Greta is excited about the journey ahead and looks forward to contributing her skills and compassion to support others in need.
