Troy is ready for work!

Joining the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) Program at our Thuringowa Career Centre provided Troy with the opportunity to acquire essential digital literacy skills, addressing areas he felt were lacking. This has empowered him to update his Workforce Australia profile and effectively utilise available resources. Being able to access emails and feeling confident in his job search abilities marked a significant achievement for Troy.

Throughout the program, Troy's confidence has increased alongside his skills. He has attended every session, and CTA Facilitator Clynt has been working closely with him to research local job opportunities that align with Troy's skills and interests.

Troy has been applying for suitable jobs, focusing on roles that are within his reach. Recognising that a volunteer role could serve as a steppingstone back into the workforce, Troy personally visited a local Salvation Army centre to inquire about volunteering opportunities.

Congratulations, Troy! You're an inspiration to our Thuringowa team. We're confident you'll achieve success in your pursuit of finding fulfilling work!
